Map factory is a new product of Web-maps that has seen the
light last 2006. It is born with the
ambition to revolutionize the concept of yellow pages
in Internet. It tries to represent everything geogfraficamente
what it is possible.
It can serve, for exampleexample level, to
sell a house in l'Escala, to look for the post
office of Figueres or
to book an
hotel in Cadaqués. And thus, sinfin of
utilities more!

of more useful street guide that tries to be més
easy to use and to find the information that one looks
for. When looking for a street, the system makes a zoom
lens out to locate to the user and a zoom lens in indicating
nobre of the street with a small arrow. |

the maps to any Website with an easy way based
on javascript.. Using that system, owners of websites
can faslty builrd his situation map. |

And how map factory works?
Mapfactory has a single flash file that loads different information
depending of the demand. Infomation can be cartographic
bases , icons , streets , layers , etc...,
etc.. A complex database system coordinates everything and
serves information to flash file.
I want to install a MapFactory system on my website.
Could I costumize it?
Yes, you can. Map Factory system can be applied to any city.
You can also create a costumized
hierarchic tree
with customized icons. You can also add all necesary languages, customized panels,
new functionalities, ....It's because mapfactory is build
with a complex systems of modules and prepared to its customitzation.

I like MapFactory. What I can hope of the next version?
From Web-maps we have taken MapFactory very seriosamente.
Even before finishing the first stable version already
we are preparing new improvements, like:
- To incorporate video and 360º photographies
viewer into the previsualization of icons
tooltip
- Detail panel improvement, whith several expandable
photos, audio and video will be able to be incorporated
.
- Scale, Geographic
North and localitzator
panels.
